The Honors Dance
What father doesn't feel a bit of reluctance to part with
his little girl? It is with a combination of pride and protectiveness
that he leads her down the aisle and later, out onto the dance floor at
the reception.
This lovely tradition pays appropriate respect to the parents of the
wedding couple and acknowledges the special and evolving relationship
between them.
The Wedding Dance Specialists recognizes these special moments and cater
to the parents of the happy couple with our standard packages and with
custom programs designed to fit the particular needs of your wedding party.
Learning an Honors Dance with your parent can be one of the most memorable
and pleasurable moments you will share your parent during the wedding planning process. We do our best to accommodate out-of-town parents who arrive just

Ron Liesemer, Father of Susan says, " The wedding of Susan and Tom Lynch went exactly as planned. The couple's first dance and father-daughter dance were performed, and received many compliments. In my mind I could hear your coaching throughout, and it was very helpful. Your suggestion that the couple's first dance occur before dinner was an excellent recommendation. The atmosphere had changed by the end of dinner. We did not have trouble keeping the dance floor clear, but after-dinner dances did not get the same focused attention. The other dances that were not choreographed went acceptably well, and gave us a comparison of dances with professional coaching and without. Professional coaching made a huge difference, and got "wows" from the crowd. Holding the kiss at the end of the father-daughter dance got a bigger vocal response than I ever expected. Another excellent idea from you. Many thanks!"
